It’s been awhile. The climb has been steep and slippery. I feel more myself than I have since February. Part of this returning I credit to Spiralheart Witchcamp from where I’ve just returned. I had a grand time! I got to play, and play with energy. I received tenderness from all around in such an overwhelmingly good way that my skin is still sweet with it. ………………. We are less than a week to Medusa camp. We are less than a week to:
being in community
entering mystery
personally and communally working the arc of the story
circling within the standing stones
working our Priestess Arts
engaging in mythic reality – on purpose
dipping our toes or whole bodies in the warm creek
night showers under the stars
delicious food
rapturous magic
lively conversation
beautiful music
feisty mischief in the faerie cairn
All of these things will be ours to enjoy. All of these things will enfold and hold our Work. Our Work including:
holding an unflinching gaze on ourselves
holding an unflinching gaze on our community
holding willing unflinching ears for other voices
risking seeing injustice
risking seeing ourselves
risking seeing others
opening our eyes to clearly see oppression
opening our mind to clearly confront our privilege
opening our spirit to shift how we are in the world

riding Pegasus
The magic of camp occurs through us. The container we build on the first night is the support, a foundation and two-by-fours. As the week progresses we weave our Work. The energies become the plaster and drywall. Our music and dancing paints the container, laughter becomes curtains and floor pillows. It is a grand experiment, this thing that we do. It is Will, and Wonder, and Collective Desire that we Love into being with all of our Selves.
Camp. I can’t wait!

It’s that time again– online registration for this year’s witchcamp is now officially open! Our community has been steadily growing over the past few years and we are hopeful that it will continue to do so. We are hosted at the gorgeous Four Quarters Interfaith Sanctuary, and space is limited; register soon to reserve your spot!
This year we’re privileged to offer 4 different paths, facilitated by an incredibly talented group of witches. We’re working with the story of Medusa, as Athena’s shadow self. So far, it’s shaping up to be an incredibly powerful year.

It’s that time of year again! Time to submit for being on the RAT (Ritual Arc Team) or for co-leading a path at camp in July 2016!
Our story is Medusa. Our camp intention is: We seek the Monster’s Unflinching Gaze. We are willing to Look, and risk the Seeing. Striving to hold the divine and monstrous both, we turn the gaze outward. We listen deeply, as allies, and work together to dismantle Privilege and Oppression.
Requirements and applications for being on the RAT or proposing a path:
Spiralheart has again come to a close. I have returned with a wrung out body, a mind teeming with plans, and a soul full of sovereignty.
Before camp Freyja said:
“I cause strife.”
“Be My witness to reality.”
“Care for your kin.”
“Hold your boundaries.”
During camp She said:
“Allow imperfections.”
I have been struggling deeply in the last year with allowing the full impact of Who I Am to go where it must, untethered. Knowing I would estrange some of my beloveds, at times temporarily and other times permanently, filled me with bouts of grief and quaking fear that caused me to cling to those final strings of attachment.
Tasked by Freyja, I let go and stepped fully into myself this week.
Loving all of me is infinitely more difficult and unimaginably easier than I knew.
I hold that paradox in gratitude.
Hail the Other.
Hail Love.
We’re doing Freyja and Brisingamen, delving deeply into sex magic, empowerment, and how to shed the shame the world likes to cloak us with.
There shall be feasting! And ritual! And spiritual paths (4 to choose from) everyday! And optional offerings! And vendors and auction to support our Send A Witch to Camp Fund! And locally source delicious food made with loving hands! And laughter and dance and singing and bonfires and music and swimming and (some) sleep and a talent show and ….
